Boy Wanted
Frank Crane
"This "want ad" appeared in the early part of this century.

"Wanted -- A boy that stands straight, sits straight, acts straight, and talks straight;
A boy whose fingernails are not in mourning, whose ears are clean, whose shoes are polished, whose clothes are brushed, whose hair is combed, and whose teeth are well cared for;
A boy who listens carefully when he is spoken to, who asks questions when he does not understand, and does not ask questions about things that are none of his business;
A boy that moves quickly and makes as little noise about it as possible;
A boy who whistles in the street, but does not whistle where he ought to keep still;
A boy who looks cheerful, has a ready smile for everybody, and never sulks;
A boy who is polite to every man and respectful to every woman and girl;
A boy who does not smoke cigarettes and has no desire to learn how;
A boy who is more eager to know how to speak good English than to talk slang;
A boy that never bullies other boys nor allows other boys to bully him;
A boy who, when he does not know a thing, says, "I don't know," and when he has made a mistake says, "I'm sorry," and when he is asked to do a thing says, "I'll Try Do";
A boy who looks you right in the eye and tells the truth every time;
A boy who is eager to read good books;
A boy who would rather put in his spare time at the YMCA gymnasium than to gamble for pennies in a back room;
A boy who does not want to be "smart" nor in any wise to attract attention;
A boy who would rather lose his job or be expelled from school than to tell a lie or be a cad;
A boy whom other boys like;
A boy who is at ease in the company of girls;
A boy who is not sorry for himself, and not forever thinking and talking about himself;
A boy who is friendly with his mother, and more intimate with her than anyone else;
A boy who makes you feel good when he is around;
A boy who is not goody-goody, a prig, or a little pharisee, but just healthy, happy, and full of life.
This boy is wanted everywhere. The family wants him, the school wants him, the office wants him, the boys want him, the girls want him, all creation wants him."

This is a great guildline for the young men of todays world. We live in trying times. We must find somthing to follow. bye Adeiu.

Regret

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Mark Twain

This is Great. To me this says it all. At the end of each day the things that you are going to regret the most are the things that you in fact do not do. It is these things that will give your soul sorrow. It is these things that will drive you mad. It is moments like these that you need to learn from. For now as that experience is past you know that you must hearken to that still small voice that whispers to your heart what you must do. You need to hear that voice and act immediately. For if you do not you will 10200% of the time regret it.
Well glad I got that of my sysytem,

Courage

"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear." James Neil Hollingworth

"Fear leads to hate, hate leads to anger and anger leads to the darkside." Yoda

Fear is the Destoryer of dreams. It is the way you justify anything. If we constantly gave into fear, we would never grow. Eleanor Roosevelt once said "Do one thing each day that scares you." That was also quoted again in the movie "School of Life" (good movie if you take out all the Language).
We can not let our lives be ruined by fear. We can not ruin our lives with fear. We need to over come our fears. We need to get rid of our fears, and reconize that there are better things that we could be doing then sitting on our couch fearing what we need to do. For instead we can actually get out there and do it. And I Can promise that you will have a Better time doing so. I can tell you from experience.
Well that about sums it up. Just get out there

Law of Attraction Quote

" If you are feeling good, then you're creating future that's on track with your desires. If you're feeling bad, you're creating future that's off track with your desires. As you go about your day, the law of attraction is working in every second. Everything we think and feel is creating our future. If you're worried or in fear then you're bringing more of that into your life throughout the day."
This means to me that your attitude is everything. Like the law of attraction says, what you give out through your actions and attitude, you are going to attract many people similar to that. Sometime this is proven wrong by the law that opposites attract. Anyways it is also if you treat others one way they will either like what your doing and choice to be around you or you can do somthing they don't like and they can still choose to be around you.
And if you are doing good, then it refelts your inside.

"We must try not to sink beneath our anguish, Harry, but battle on."
Albus Dumbledore
Ok this is a great quote, These books are my favorite. Ok last year I heard another great quote. It stated, "Adjust and Battle". During our life we will come upon moments of anguish and dispair. But when these times come we must not dack down but we must stand and fight. We are going to need courage strength and disiplin. We are mostly going to need faith. Faith in the hand that holds us up everyday. This time is coming we need to prepare now.
